Have you ever thought about how many people die every day? Have you ever thought about how they die and why? Most of the people would answer that they do not think about it, not because they are selfish just because this is a normal process someone dies other are born in the same day. True. Every day in USA dies around 7000 persons according to the United Nations Statistics Division. What if I will say that almost a  ¼ of them die because of the lack of donor organs? Still don’t care? What if among all the persons there is someone whom you know? I suppose now you care. I will introduce you the myths about organ donation, real facts and solutions. Let me introduce you first the definition of organ donation and some details of the history of†¦show more content†¦Because of our busy modern lifes, people usually complain on the lack of time for doing everything especially when is regarding some volunteer work, charity or simple help for others that are need, the quotation underlines one more time that there is no need to have a certain time to be kind, it just happens to you regardless of the circumstances. In my opinion the organ donation is the greatest act of kindness and human generosity because organ donation is a gift of life. What we have now? We have a big insufficiente of organ donors, a huge waiting list and a constant number of eighteen people that die per day because they they do not receive their organs in time. According to the Organ Donation Governmental Organization the waiting list consists of over 120 000 women, men and children of different ages. The waiting list is increasing as a consequence every 13 minutes, a new person is added to the national transplant waiting list according to the Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network. The lack of organ donors was always an issue for the Health Department. There were initiate numerous campaigns to attract people’s attention and to influence them to become donors, as well as there were launched various social advertisements, banners and many other methods to convince the American populations to save lives.
